Brian Clifford
Husband, Father, Christian, Conservative, Public-Servant, Attorney, Entrepreneur
I'm a husband, father of two elementary school kids, Christian, conservative, attorney, and small business owner.
I'm an attorney by trade, having worked with two large national law firms before serving as a state attorney. In 2019, I was asked by Governor Lee’s administration to serve as a Director in the State’s Bureau of Parks and Conservation where I help lead Tennessee State Parks, State Natural Areas, and State Archaeology, among other areas. In 2024, I was appointed to serve as Director of the State of Tennessee's inaugural Office of Outdoor Recreation, where I work to drive collaboration among agencies and provide leadership to advance conservation and improve access to Tennessee’s great outdoors. I also have a family-owned and operated small business.
Other areas of service include being appointed to serve on the Regional Planning Commission for Williamson County, coaching little league baseball, supporting TSC club soccer, and serving at Brentwood Baptist Church where my family attends.
With my background in law, serving the great State of Tennessee, and running a small business, I know what it means to make hard decisions with lasting impacts, and I am committed to being a strong, conservative steward of our county government.
